Although HTC only disclosed 448MB of RAM on HTC HD2, but it actually has 576MB of RAM which is unlocked by powerusers over at XDA. With this extra ram, performance of the device can be increased further. User g.lewarne has posted a few tips to increase the performance of HD2.
These tips are meant to run HTC Sense more smoother, improves album art scrolling in landscape mode, much smoother font rendering. Also the ever lagging opening of the Windows folder is shortened to only half a second.
By default HTC Album shows all the pictures on the device, which is not a good thing with respect to privacy. We all have our personal images of friends or family. Or we just want to opt out images of icons or other non useful stuff. Well now user dahoarty at xda has created a mort script to hide folders from HTC Album, so mortscript must be installed in order to use it. The script is very easy to use & usage has been explained by dahoarty himself at XDA. So download & hide all your personal images from HTC Album.

HTC HD2 is a great devices full of features but it does have its share of shortcomings, HTC have been releasing hotfixes for major issues but after HTC has announced that there’ll not be any more camera updates by them, one shortcoming is still there to be patched i.e. Camera taking extreme bright, high contrast pictures of the subject.
