Although HTC disclosed only 448MB of RAM on HTC HD2, but it actually has 576MB of RAM which is unlocked by powerusers over at XDA. With this extra ram, performance of the device can be increased further. User g.lewarne has posted a few tips to increase the performance of HD2.
These tips are meant to run HTC Sense more smoother, improves album art scrolling in landscape mode, much smoother font rendering. Also the ever lagging opening of the Windows folder is shortened to only half a second.
He also cautioned that this is only for devices with 576MB RAM & unsuitable for 1.66 roms as will necessitate a hard reset.
