Got 576MB RAM On HTC HD2 Now Boost Its Performance

Although HTC only disclosed 448MB of RAM on HTC HD2, but it actually has 576MB of RAM which is unlocked by powerusers over at XDA. With this extra ram, performance of the device can be increased further. User g.lewarne has posted a few tips to increase the performance of HD2.

These tips are meant to run HTC Sense more smoother, improves album art scrolling in landscape mode, much smoother font rendering. Also the ever lagging opening of the Windows folder is shortened to only half a second.

Workaround To Fix HD2 Camera Bright Picture Mode

No More Camera Updates For HD2 By HTC

HTC have been releasing Hotfixes for HTC HD2 like it was an unfinished product. After releasing hotfix for the pink spot issue in the camera HTC is saying that they will not be releasing anymore updates for the HD2 camera. User ZaZu90 over at xda contacted HTC asking them some questions, including the over contrasted pictures and whitebalance issues in the camera, oh and the pink tone as well. Here is their reply :

Windows Mobile 6.6 to Launch at MWC Next Month

According to the sources at Digitimes, Microsoft is set to launch Windows Mobile 6.6 (codename Maldives) sometime in February of this year. If this rumor regarding Windows Mobile 6.6 turns out to be true, then we could see it debut as early as next month at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
