It was widely expected that Windows Mobile 7 will be released in first quarter of 2010, although microsoft didn’t made any announcement for that. Now its revealed that windows mobile 7 will go on sales in the third quarter of 2010. Windows Mobile 7 goes to manufacturers in Q1 2010 (i.e. by March 2010, probably it will be officially announced at Mobile World Congress in February 2010 and shown in limited form to Mobius participants next week) and on sale in Q3 2010 what practically means around September 2010.

According to AdMob, which serves ads for mobile Web sites and apps, bases its numbers on data from ad requests, impressions, and clicks tracked smartphone usage for six-month period. Which shows Windows Mobile has seen signficant drop in OS Market Share from 7% in February to 4 % in August whereas iPhone & Android has grow their market.
